A one-of-a-kind experience, where you will find yourself catapulted into a wonderful rural reality and you will be able to fully experience the oil production cycle, learn pruning and harvesting techniques as well as immerse yourself in the reality and culture of Umbrian peasant life, preparing and tasting dishes of our tradition.
LA POTATURA (The Pruning)

The first period of stay will be from March 14, 2025 to April 12, 2025 and will allow the participant to choose your own olive tree sapling and start taking care of it with pruning.
FRIDAY
Arrival in the afternoon and crossing from San Feliciano to Isola Polvese.
Walk with the agronomist among the saplings and choice of the plant.
Aperitif in the facility with cold cuts, cheeses, compotes and local wine.
Dinner in the facility and overnight stay
SATURDAY
In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will be taken to the sapling to learn the pruning techniques, which you will then apply to your plant.
A snack will be served during the pruning.
Lunch at the facility.
In the afternoon, a typical cooking class.
Dinner at the facility and final pruning party
SUNDAY
After breakfast, plaques will be placed on all the saplings with the name of your adopter

LA RACCOLTA (The Harvesting)

The second period of stay will go from October 03, 2025 to November 07, 2025 and will allow the participant to live the experience of harvesting and pressing the olives, returning home with the extra virgin olive oil produced by their own plant
FRIDAY
Arrival in the afternoon and crossing from San Feliciano to Isola Polvese.
Walk with the agronomist among the saplings to admire the fruits andfor the first notions on pressing.
Dinner in the facility and overnight stay
SATURDAY
In the morning after a hearty breakfast, you will be taken to the sapling for the olive harvest.
Snack in the field.
Lunch at the facility.
In the afternoon, transfer to the mainland to go to the mill for pressing
Snack with bruschetta with garlic and new oil
Dinner at the facility and final harvest party
SUNDAY
After breakfast, bottles of your own oil produced will be delivered.
Return to the mainland

Supplements and Reductions
- Accommodation in a single room Euro 65.00 per person per night
- Third bed reduction for adults – 15% on the rate per person in a double room
- Third bed reduction for adults – 25% on the rate per person in a double room
TRAVEL CONDITIONS
Departures in the two periods PRUNING and HARVESTING are always guaranteed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.
Reaching this number will be confirmed within 20 days of the departure of the trip.
Participants may be offered alternative dates for both periods where it is more likely that the minimum number of participants will be reached.
Once the minimum number of participants has been reached, a deposit equal to 30% of the package will be required.
The balance payment is required within 15 days of the departure of the trip.
Europ Assistance insurance coverage will be formalized upon payment of the balance
Any cancellations must be communicated via email to info@umbriasi.it
For cancellations after the payment of the balance up to the date of arrival, late arrival and/or early departure, no show (i.e. no-show) the total amount of the practice will be requested.
You can activate Europ Assistance insurance coverage (for the cases provided for by the coverage) which will be formalized upon payment of the balance.
